Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APC) for BIOCHEPHY: Journal of Science Education

To uphold the high standards of our editorial process and accommodate the growing number of submissions from around the world, BIOCHEPHY: Journal of Science Education will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) starting in 2025. 

This APC is introduced to cover the costs associated with the editorial process, including peer review, journal production, and online hosting and archiving. We believe this step is essential to sustain the journal's quality and accessibility.

APC Amount for BIOCHEPHY (Effective from January 1, 2025):

• For authors outside Indonesia: Free of Charges.
• For Indonesian authors: 200,000 IDR per accepted article.

These APCs have been carefully determined to balance the financial sustainability of the journal with affordability for our diverse author community.

We understand that APCs can be a concern for some authors, and we aim to keep our charges reasonable and transparent.

Editorial Integrity and APCs: Please note that the APCs will not influence editorial decision-making. All submissions will be evaluated based on their intellectual merit and contribution to the field of Science Education.
