The Indonesian Journal of Earth Sciences proudly presents its latest issue, featuring ten scholarly articles authored by 34 contributors from 11 countries—Cameroon, China, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, and Türkiye. Published from January to June 2025, this edition highlights the journal’s expanding global collaboration and commitment to advancing research in earth and environmental sciences.
The articles in this issue address a wide spectrum of themes: forest cover analysis in DR Congo, soil property variability in Ethiopia, thermal comfort in hot-humid Philippine cities, ammonite fossils from Central Alborz, gold mineralization in Nigeria, comparative gravitational models, flood inundation mapping in Pakistan, land use change around a Nigerian airport, drought forecasting in Türkiye, and tectonic dynamism in Cameroon.
We invite geographers, earth scientists, environmental researchers, and practitioners to explore this rich and diverse collection of studies, which provide critical insights and practical knowledge for understanding the complex processes shaping our planet.
